The Center sponsors both pre-doctoral and post-doctoral training programs for psychologists-in-training in consortium with the Clifford Beers Child Guidance Clinic (located at 93 Edwards Street, www.cliffordbeers.org). One year positions are available from September 1 – August 30. Training includes experience in individual, group, couples, and family therapy, direct supervision, and didactic seminars. APRN Training
The Center also sponsors a practicum site for the Yale School of Nursing APRN students, who gain experience in both psychotherapy and psychopharmacotherapy. More information is available from Kristin Hale, APRN at the Center.
Supervision
Drs. Lubin, Johnson, Giagnacova, Sajnani, and Ms. Hale offer ongoing supervision, individual and small group, for clinicians interested in a trauma perspective on their clinical work.
Drama Therapy Training
We also offer internships in drama therapy, coordinated by Nisha Sajnani, Ph.D.
Seminars and Workshops
Seminars on various topics related to treatment of PTSD and trauma-related disorders are offered throughout the year to clinicians. These will be listed on this website as they are scheduled.
