WHAT IS YOUR NEW PATIENT PROCEDURE?

Individuals interested in treatment at the Post Traumatic Stress Center should call and ask to speak with an intake specialist.  The intake specialist will ask you about your basic demographic information, nature of your trauma, and availability.  At this point, they will match you with a clinician and provide you with an appointment for evaluation.

WHAT KIND OF THERAPY DO YOU DO?

Each clinician at the Post Traumatic Stress Center undergoes rigorous training in principles and techniques of Trauma Centered Psychotherapy. This approach uses active trauma inquiry to quickly address the ways in which ones trauma is interfering with their present well-being.

Clinicians are trained in EMDR and the Counting Method, rapid methods of desensitization.
